SME Bank and Chamber of Professional and Micro Enterprises of Cambodia (CPMEC) sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

Phnom Penh, 3 July 2026 – SME Bank and the Chamber of Professional and Micro Enterprises of Cambodia (CPMEC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), represented by Mr. CHEA Sophak, CEO of SME Bank, and Lok Chumteav Oknha Dr. KEO Mom, President of CPMEC.

This MoU aims to promote and provide preferential financing to micro-enterprises for working capital and investment in expanding production and markets. Furthermore, this cooperation is expected to extend beyond financing to include training, information sharing, and facilitation of business registration, among other areas.

In addition, both institutions have committed to ensuring the effective implementation of this MoU, supported by monitoring plans and regular meetings.
