Phnom Penh, on the morning of May 27, 2026, in response to a request from SME Bank, the General Department of Policy of the Ministry of Economy and Finance assigned Mr. Bunna Oudom, Acting Director of the Macroeconomic and Fiscal Policy Department, along with his team of experts, to share insights on “Cambodia’s Economic, Commercial, and Financial Status and Outlook.” The presentation was delivered to SME Bank’s senior management and presided over by Mr. CHEA Sophak, Chief Executive Officer of SME Bank.
The CWES is to assist viable SMEs owned by women that are impacted by the economic challenges during this period. With CWES, we hope to provide women SME entrepreneurs better access to financing at a reasonable cost.
