SME Bank of Cambodia distributed study materials to Choam Sangkae Primary School.

Education plays a crucial role in a country’s development and requires support from both the government and relevant partners, both locally and globally.
On June 29, 2024, SME Bank of Cambodia, led by Dr. LIM Aun, the Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, distributed study materials to Choam Sangkae Primary School. The school is located in Ta Ney Village, Khum Choam Sangkae, Phnom Sruoch District in Kampong Speu Province.
This contribution was made by the management and staff of SME Bank of Cambodia during their cycling activity, which took place on February 23, 2024, in Siem Reap province. The theme of the event was “Small Wheel, Big Heart – Cycling with SME Bank.”
This generous gesture demonstrates unwavering commitment to participate in and promote education within the community, addressing specific needs. SME Bank of Cambodia supports the Royal Government and Ministry of Education in implementing educational programs to enhance human capacity. These efforts contribute to Cambodia’s economic, social, and cultural development, both locally and globally.
The Executive Management of SME Bank of Cambodia has joined as an Honorable Speaker in a virtual workshop on “Women Entrepreneurs Capacity Upgrades Toward Digital Economy” Organized by the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation, Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Association, and Khmum Technology Co., Ltd.
On May 20,2024, in Tokyo, H.E Dr. PHAN Phalla, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SME Bank of Cambodia presided over and led the delegates that included the Board of Directors, and the senior management of the Bank. The delegation paid a visit to the Policy Research Institute (PRI), the Ministry of Finance, Japan; and the Micro Business and Individual Unit, Japan Finance Corporation (JFC-Micro).
