JOB OVERVIEW

The employee will be responsible for mitigating the bank’s credit risk to an optimum level by providing a sound credit assessment in line with the Bank’s lending direction before it is submitted for decision.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct an assessment of the quality of loan applications submitted by BUs, then highlight all risk concerns and provide sound recommendations to the approving authority for decision-making.
  • Check and validate provided documentation and information, including but not limited to the purpose of fund utilization, business registration, and ownership, financial documents, collaterals, etc., to ensure all credit proposals comply with all requirements in relevant policy/regulation and recommend loan grading per regulator’s guidelines.
  • Communicate the approval decision to respective relationship staff.
  • Manage the turnaround time of evaluation of each case at the target SLA
  • Work closely with relationship staff on rectifying information after validation and advise on possible solutions.
  • Review change requests submitted by BUs to discuss with the line manager and circulate for approval.
  • Review disbursement request on fulfillment of pre-disbursement condition and circulate for approval.
  • Assess Credit Reviews and/or R&R submitted by BUs on relevant criteria, discuss with the Line Manager, and circulate for approval.
  • Work closely with RO/RM/Loan Monitoring & Recovery to support for Restructure and Reschedule
  • Regular report on cases reviewed and in process.
  • Continuously develop self-competency through on-the-job training and attend courses nominated by the line manager.
  • Perform the assigned tasks with high integrity and professional conduct.

PERSON SPECIFICATION KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCES

  • Holding at least bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Obtaining at least 3-year Credit experience and more than 01 year in Credit Assessment
  • Having acceptable knowledge in good credit practices, customer protection concept, and responsible lending to avoid negative impact on environment and society.
  • Being able to produce and present necessary reports using computer applications such as Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Experiencing in a competitive working environment
