Phnom Penh, July 30, 2026 – H.E. Dr. PHAN Phalla, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SME Bank, presided over the opening remarks of the “National Business Financing Forum 2026”. The forum, hosted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance under the theme “Integrating Government’s Financing Support for Economic Resilience”, was held at Sokha Hotel Phnom Penh.
The National Forum on Business Finance 2026 convened leaders from the Royal Government, financial institutions, development partners, business associations, and the private sector. Together, they engaged in discussions to identify common solutions aimed at improving the financing environment and expanding access to capital for businesses in Cambodia.
