Assistant Manager, IT Audit

JOB OVERVIEW

To provide overall independent, effective & efficient internal audit functions, carry out the audit assignment & complete audit field work.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct IT audit testing to evaluate the quality of internal control implementation and design by relevant departments;
  • Assist the bank in strengthening IT governance and IT control environment;
  • Review audit working paper and evidence for assigned IT audit missions to ensure the completeness of audit findings and identification of root causes, implications, and recommendations;
  • Prepare draft audit reports on the assigned missions and participate in a presentation to heads of auditees to make sure they are well informed;
  • Check compliance with internal established policies, procedures, and regulations;
  • Follow up on the progress of implementation and recommendation
  • Assist in tracking all audit issues and management’s corrective action to final resolution; and
  • Perform other tasks assigned by line manager.
  • PERSON SPECIFICATION KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCES
  • Bachelor’s/ master’s degree of IT, IS, Computer Science, Accounting, or other related fields;
  • Professional Certification related to IT, IS, Computer Science;
  • At least 2- 3-year experience in IT auditing, Exposure to the financial service sector is an advantage (auditing field in Bank/ MFIs);
  • Knowledge of IT audit processes in IT governance and digital banking;
  • Fluency of English and Khmer in both speaking and writing;
  • Good analytical skills and ability to check and diagnose problems;
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, team player, fast learner, and good communication skills; and
  • Computer Literacy in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Willingness to travel to
